Having grown up with Cadbury’s, it’s obviously going to be a little biased. What from I have tasted of Hershey’s (They very occasionally have it in the supermarket) I find it still a good chocolate, but a little too sweet for my taste.

I’d probably put Cadbury’s just ahead then.

I’m an American who happens to love both. Cadbury comes out front in my opinion. Cadbury tastes more ‘real’ than Hershey’s.

The best chocolate is from Belgium though

Someone needs a thorough refining of his/her taste palate. On the same yet different note, You probably prefer Pisswater beer Budlight over a plethora of quality microbrews out there.

It’s a crying shame that there are no Cadbury’s Cream Eggs any more but instead bitter Hershey’s Cream Eggs have taken their place.

I did once complain to Hershey about the taste of Cadbury’s chocolate made by Hershey and received the standard ‘different places, different flavors’ response, referring to the difference sources of the ingredients.

It’s probably due to the abundant cornucopia of toxins in the animal feed in the USA and all the hormones in the cattle.

I will have to find a reasonably priced importer.

Cadbury’s is the best. i’ve even been to birmingham england and went to the Cadbury factory. it’s a combination of Wonka and hershey park. my 2nd favourite day in europe, it even beat out france. it just didn’t beat visiting my 7 uncles!

Living on the other side of the pond, my vote on main stream manufacturers, is based on the taste of Cadbury products in the UK. The same products (if available) lack something in North America that would probably even out the vote.

That Nestle welcomed the ruling (assuming the report is accurate) is not entirely surprising, given their extensive UK interests.
