I have the same concerns about the labelling of foodstuffs as "organic" (I'm really wondering how many foodstuffs are inorganic!). This annoys me primarily because it's a severe corruption of the language and leads to an essential "dumbing down" of the population. Of course, it also opens the door to any manufacturer being able to claim their foodstuffs are organic (which they ARE), misleading people that have fallen for the incorrect usage of the word.
