This week marks the opening of the 2011 applications for the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Travelling Fellowship. The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust (WCMT) is inviting all British citizens to be a part of the 45th group of Fellows; coinciding with this year’s 70th anniversary of Sir Winston Churchill becoming Prime Minister.
Applicants must be over 18, British citizens and resident in the UK. The trust is especially keen to hear from scientists. Successful applicants will receive a Fellowship grant of up to £5,500, covering travel for 4-8 weeks (minimum of 4 weeks). The deadline for the 2011 applications is 5th October 2010.
